Sad Two Days
Jun. 6th, 2018 11:09 pmHello Readers
It has defiantly been very eventful the past couple of days. I had to take my daughter to the ER the last week for a double ear infection, then I found out our accpaniest in our choir passed away of heat stroke. Yesterday was her funeral and the day before was her visitation at the funeral home. On June 4th, I spend the day with my good friend Cindy and we went to a few stores in Sandusky Ohio, one which is my favorite Pato’s closet and I got a few tops, we also went to Once Upon A Child which is a gently used children’s thrift store. I got a few outfits for Cadance there. Shopping seems to help my anxiety a little bit as it has been full blown the past few days. This usually happens when I know I have attend a funeral. When we arrived at the funeral home to pay respects man soon as I walked into the door I was trembling inside. It took me a minute to walk in the room where Jane’s body was laid out at. I finally got up the courage to enter the room and talk myself into going up to the casket. Before this I almost took off running out of there. Once I finally mustered up the courage to walk to the casket I was somewhat ok. There were pictures and flowers all around and Jane was a beautiful child. She was 71 years old and very active and loved touching lives with music. Then the next day was the funeral and I saw members of the choir as well as Michael and Pam. It was awesome to see them again as well as other members of the choir. The choir sang “Come To The Water” and it just did not sound the same as when Jane played it for us. Michael sang a beautiful rendition of The Lord’s Prayer. So great memories were shared and then the procession started to the grave site which was a little ery as the graveyard is right by Jane’s house and we drove right by it. It was strange seeing her car in the driveway. We had a luncheon thing at the First Presbityrian Church and there was a ton of food and delicious as well. After that was finished, I walked home and then took a nap for a bit and woke up and went tanning which is very relaxing and I just reflected upon the past two days in my mind. I was also wondering I would still have a job when I returned to work the next day, which is currently today and I did. It was just me, Angela, Jodie, and Shareffa working today. I was cleaning one of my rooms and found a brand new Harley Davidson key for someone left behind, this is nothing compared to the one room I had during bike week that had guns everywhere. One which was an AR-15 but at least they were not loaded, that was a great conversation piece though. The person was a stay over and there where pistols on the one table, and banana clips on the TV stand with bullets in them for the AR-15 I assumed. It was interesting as I have never seen a gun that large up close before. I am also now finished with my Bachleor’s degree and now I am just catching up on final assignments. Man it feels so good to be done with my Bachleors degree and with school. I want to start focusing on my personal life as well as my documentary I am writing on being a hotel housekeeper. In this documentary I will be talking about some of my experiences as well as things seen no one normally sees, for example when I saw all the guns in that one room. I can also get back into my blogging again as tat was on hold for quite a while because I wanted to focus on finishing school. So this is what has been going on in my life currently.
