Dear Readers
So for the past couple weeks I have been contemplating on starting a wordpress blog. Being that I am about to receive my cert in journalism. I want to keep up on my writing skills and what a better way then through blogging. There are so many ideas floating around in my head and I am having a hard time as to picking out a name. Now I am learning all about blogging in my Journalism class, as well as, establishing and keeping an audience. I guess my fear is, if I start a blog it will go stale like others I have had in the past. I have not been on my weebly booknook blog in forever, I would be surprised if it was still even up. I have the passion to want to start a blog, but I am trying to keep motivated and keep up on my posts. Time goes fast in my world and you can only fit so much in a day. I am doing better with time management and now that I am almost finished with school, that should free up more time to focus more on what I want to do. Part of me wants to do a blog just surrounded by journalism and writing, and another part of me wants to do a blog about being a new mom and blindness. Other thoughts and ideas come into my head that I want to incooperate like fashion, lifestyle, etc. I think in terms of journalism, I am going to just have a facebook group page for aspiring journalists, and surround my wordpress blog around parenting lifestyle since that is my strong focal point at the moment. Parenting tips, and facts, and other musings never get dull specially now that my two year old is learning something new everyday. Its funny because now when she comes across something gross, she will be like "Ewwwww." If there is a type of food she does not like she will be like "eewwwww mama." Yesterday I did my first actual real interview, someone actually came to me and wanted me to interview them and I thought this was cool. He is a blind musician in Mississippi and very interesting so I want to go and edit and create an article based off of that interview. I have to find time for all of this in between school, and parenting since work has been few and far between. I have gotten called off like five days in a row already. Well I am going to go for now and find some other writers here with some same interests.
