Just a vent about my work situation

Today has not been one of the best days in the world in the work force that is for sue, at least where I work at. I do not have any problem with my job as I love what I do, however, I do have a problem with how the place is ran by the higher-ups but I will get to that in a moment. Got up this morning to find out my babysitter was sick, this is fine you cannot help it if your are sick. I tried to call a few other people and that I would have called for a backup sitter. Well in the midst of all this me and Duane got into a little spat because this is one of those days where we both work in the same time frame. He did not want to want to call off and neither did I. So we were booth in the same boat. I think we were both thinking of ourselves at the time because we both wanted to go to work regardless. So Deborah, Duane’s brothers girlfriend was able to watch her for us. Beforehand I called work and told them I had no sitter because I did not at the time only to get “Well if you are not here we have to let you go”. I got to work and clocked in and Lyn was not far behind me and I told her what was going on and she was like “Melang that is crap” and I was totally in agreement. Anyway I proceeded with my day and getting my cart prepped for cleaning. I was already annoyed and even more when I got to my cart and I had no broom, mop, or vaccum cleaner. By this point I let it be known vocally that I was quite annoyed by this. Moving on, I went and stripped my rooms and by this I mean stripped all the dirty linnens and towels from rooms I had on my list. After I was finished with that I started my cleaning only to find out the spray bottle I had on my cart was junk. At this point, I was ready to blow a dam gasket. Walked around trying to find one that works for I do not know how long until I found one. That is bad when your workplace is so money tight they will not even buy decent cleaning supplies. I buy my own cleaning solutions and such. I guess I will have to get my own spray bottle as well. I also sliced my pinky open on a cheap ass broken broom handle. I love my job but now how it is run in terms of ethical standards. I could write a book on the ethical violations in that place. Ethically, that hotel is not ran properly and to be honest I do not even know how the place is still even open. I will have to go into more detail about that another time as it is late I am sleepy and it is back to work tomorrow. So until next time..
