Work and class project ponderings

I hope the day has treated you all well. I got another day of work in but it sucks because I found out that this coming paycheck will only be for a day. I guess something is better than nothing. I try not to complain about work because there is always someone out there who is in a far worse off situation then ourselves. My boss told me that it should start picking up again here in March. It was quiet, and erie in the hotel today that is for sure, and it did not help matters much that it was gloomy, and dark with it being a rainy day. I had ten rooms today, four were stay overs. At least the rooms were not too messy though. I always go into work thinking "hmm what mess is going to greet me today?" So I always try to prepare myself for walking into a horrific mess, which I have before. In the hotel world, messes are no stranger to me anymore. When I am working I have to have a radio on, or a tv on because sometimes it is too quiet in turn, makes it more erie. Anyway, I am trying to figure out what story I want to work on for my final journalism class assignment because it is a huge one. Part of me wants to do my story on the shootings that occurred in Fl yesterday, but I just have this feeling everyone in my class is going to choose that story because it is a hot button, most recent goings on in the news right now. Tomorrow I will probably use most of my day for getting that project under way. I am so bad at waiting until the last minute to get assignments done. For now, it is going to be off to bed with me so I can rest for tomorrow.
